		<description>Good day Greg,

Yesterday I had the privilege of purchasing a 1795/6 half eagle US gold coin. I was so excited to own such a rarity. I did not do much research on the coin before I purchased it but knew instinctively that it was a true rarity. After reading your excellent research on the piece I find myself even more pleased with my decision. You provide a wonderful synopsis of the valuable characteristics of this really cool numismatic treasure. I am grateful for your commitment to inform numismatists like myself of the important details required for good research on seldom seen US coin rarities. Thank you!!! The piece that I acquired is an ex jewelry piece which ICG determined has extra fine details, so it does have some issues. But like an old dog it has many redeeming qualities that more than make up for its imperfections. After reading your research page on this coin I am excited to share this information and my new purchase with fellow collectors. Best wishes.
