I’ve written Director Moy about the practice several times, using very strong language and threatening to bring a class action lawsuit against the mint for this practice. His response written for him by a low level staffer: selling to the 25 dealers who must meet certain criteria guarantees that the public will get the coins. No, sir, it guarantees that the dealers get the coins, mark them up, resell to other non-qualifying dealers, and then the public gets a shot at the coins at a much higher price. Anyone who would wish to represent me in a class action suit (I am also a lawyer), please contact me at iansplanet@cox.net.
