The second version of this coin minted during the second reign of Justinian II (705-711 AD/CE) depicts a more accurate Africoid image of &quot;J-sus&quot; in keeping with the original traditions of the Byzantine Church which commonly portrayed &quot;J-sus&quot; as African.  The coin being shown is one minted during his first reign.

Tacitus can tell you that the Romans considered the Hebrews to be Ethiopians due to their dark skin.
