Superior Galleries Realizes Strong Prices in April 10, 2008 Santa Clara Elite Auction

This 800 lot event realized $945,000 inclusive of the buyer’s premium.

This rare piece of American currency brought $143,750 which represents the highest price ever achieved for a similar note in VF grade at auction. This 800 lot event formally inaugurated Superior’s 2008 auction season with extremely strong prices. The auction, was anchored by the stellar Irene Collection of Rarities, and the LRIS Collection, among others, and realized $2.63 million.
