It's unfortunate that he's going to drop coin collecting all together though? Bad people will do bad things. Someone could break into his house to steal his TV too. I understand he was an attractive target, but maybe keeping the coins out of the house and maintaining a lower profile, could still allow him to enjoy his passion. GS What a nightmare experience.
