An original will price between $45,000 and $750,000 right now. The re-strike was done by melting an original ingot off the shipwreck SS Central America which sunk in 1857, with the use of the original dies, to create a flawless restrike of this 2 1/2 oz. Octagonal at a price of only $7,950.
