Unique, Early American Gold Highlights September Long Beach Expo

(Long Beach, California, September 8, 2007) – A multi-million dollar public display of early United States Mint coins, including unique Half Eagle and Eagle specimen strikes, will be exhibited at the Long Beach Coin, Stamp & Collectibles Expo in the Long Beach Convention Center, 100 S. Pine Ave., September 27 – 29, 2007.
Visitors will also see special exhibits of coins, ingots, medals, tokens and scrip from the John J. Ford Jr. Collection of Western Americana; portions of the PCGS Grading Set; and the first display of the finest known 1907 Ultra High Relief Saint-Gaudens double eagle since its recent, record-smashing sale.
“The display by Monaco Rare Coin of Newport Beach features the finest known 1776 Continental Dollar struck in pewter, graded NGC MS67, and one-of-a-kind gold pieces from 1795 and 1800,” said Ronald J. Gillio, Expo General Chairman.
