I bought one of theseand began to wonder if I had the right coin when all the hoopla aout the small mintage of 2008 Buffalos began. Mine, although a celebration coin, anew series that I do not think I have seen any other coins added to, does not have a proof mint mark. I called the US Mint about this and was told that they produce only PROOF VERSIONS OF THESE COINS AND NO BULLION. My question now is how does my special coin fit into the incredible resale values of 2008 Buffalos one sees on internet sites and Ebay? Any ideas? Thanks for the forum.

Martyn,

Gold Bullion coins are very popular right now mainly because of the economy and the weakening U.S. dollar. Gold is a great, safe investment!
