Continuing saga of the non-pattern Cheerios dollar.
I am a bit baffled by Mr. Delorey's scenario of general circulation coins being sent to General Mills. In an article of 2005

http://www.ngccoin.com/news/ViewArticle.aspx?NewsletterNewsArticleID=151&print=1

the mint admitted to 16 different variations during the initial 5500 production.

I read another article( I can't find it again) that said the Cheerios coins were made 3 months before general production began.

I have sent a query to the Mint hoping for clarification.
I will post it here if and when I receive a reply.

Another non pattern Cheerios dollar has emerged.
NGC graded mine last week at MS64 labelled "CHEERIOS PROMOTION".
So how do I go about putting a value on this set?
They are no where near as pretty as the pattern reverse variety, but by all accounts are much scarcer.
