African Wildlife Preserve Gains $299,001 at Heritage’s Inaugural Houston Signature Auction

The Khumbula Thina Trust, a wildlife preserve in the Zulu lands, was the beneficiary of selected lots from the Fleur Wales-Baillie Collection sold during the auction.

According to Heritage President Greg Rohan, “Among the most interesting anchors we have had in some time, Fleur Wales-Baillie dedicated proceeds from some of her most important coins to benefit the Khumbula Thina Trust. This is a U.S. 501(c)(3) Private Operating Foundation working in the Zulu lands of Africa. These funds will be used to expand the territory for existing wildlife, and establish a water system of lakes and ponds for aquatic birdlife following their successful drilling of a rich well in that parched landscape. I encourage you to view their fascinating website at www.Khumbula.org for additional details and plenty of photographs of the important work that is being done there.”
