Greg, how much value would you place on a silver Louis XVI coin dated 1786 which has the bust of Louis XVI on the front and, on the other, the oval with 3 lis inside and a crown on top and wreaths bracketing the sides and bottom. Words on side with profile are LUD.SVI.D.G.FR.ET.NAV.REX and on the crest side are Sit Nomen Domini Benedictum. There is a tiny crown under the figure near the edge of the coin.

I have Japanese gold coins (never circulated)
commemorating Akihito becoming an emperor(1990)
paid 100,000 yen at the time.
Also, a gold coin commemorating Prince Akihito and Masako's marrage paid 50,000 yen (1993)

Would like to find out the current value and the marketability.

Please advise.

Aloha,
Miho
