		<description>there were no silver Doubloons but there were copper pieces he had submited at the same time he submited the boubloon and the 1/2 doubloon there were a total of 7 Doubloons and only 1 half doubloon ever to exist these Doubloons were stamped on the breast of the eagle or on the wing of the eagle last sold for aprox. 2.5 million the re-strikes I belive are available for only 2500 this is a spectacular value what a coin.</description>

		<description>I found one in NY made out of pewter. The back of the coin looks identicle to the eagle side with the EB on the wing and 1787.

The front seems to have a bust head, appears to look like George Washington?? Maybe gold plated
at one time as well, but the pewter seems to
be of age.
