Placing religious references on official U.S. currency is an affront to the constitution, and to the men who wrote it.

It's wrong to pay official reverence to a myth whose probability of existence is at best 50/50. Congress shouldn't pass laws like these. They're unconstitutional.

How eloquent!

I can't entirely agree with the Reverend ... I feel the godliness of our founders and the resulting governing framework would be proof positive of our belief in God for future generations ... for as long as records survive.

However, were we to ever remove the motto, it would serve as a loud and clear indication, if not proof positive, that we had either abandoned our beliefs or been overpowered by those who didn't share them!

I think it's great that we continue to recognise the protection of the Almighty by keeping this motto on our currency and our coins. And to recognise the wisdom of those individuals who proposed its usage, especially in this time of world strife and heathenism encroaching on nearly every aspect of citizens lives.
