I agree, it's wonderful to hear from a direct descendent of such wonderful collectors who have preserved the integrity of coin collecting. I work with experts in the numismatic field (at Heritage Auction Galleries) and I am sure that if you truly do have questions regarding the collection, someone here has answers.

I would love to chat more with you about this offline to answer any questions you may have. Please feel free to reach out: kingap@ha.com

Best,

Hello Jennifer, it is fantastic to read personal comments from any family with such historical importance regarding coins.

I live in the UK and buy rare coins to sell for a profit although I do not act as a registered business. I have to inform you, you would not believe how many coins I come across which are claimed come from the Norweb collection to add a premium to the sale! I have noticed this abuse has happened a lot lately as most collectors have no access to any Norweb sale catalogues.

It would be great if a website was set up as something like a Norweb collection reference guide, sales and current collection etc. I feel it will educate many thousands of people. Such a site could also be used for profit in some way or another as well.

Hope to hear from you!

Hello,

This is my family :) I have the remainder of coins that were left behind to me from my ancestors. The government took a majority of them when Emery May passed away. I can not say that this entire article is accurate, as the coins were TAKEN from my family. I have all the original documents and books to prove it. I am quite saddened to read this, as these coins were worth much more than their monetary value. Please feel free to write me if you have any questions, as I definately have questions for you.
