DLRC Auctions’ Sale #120 Realizes
over $550,000!

Lawrence Rare Coin Internet Auction #120, the 2006 End of YearSale featuring
the Great Plains Collection of Buffalo Nickels, realized anamazing $553,320 in
total sales, including the 15% buyer’s premium.The highlighted Great
Plains Collection was offered through the compa-ny’s Guaranteed Auction
Program, where the reserves are guaranteed andall lots are assured to sell.

The auction
ran for two weeks, ending the evening of December 26th. Vice President Win
Callender said “This wasa great way to end 2006 and was one of our
strongest on-line auctions incompany history. It’s wonderful to see our
on-line auctions attracting anincrease in bidders, and to break a half-million
in sales is great for ourconsignors, especially the owner of the Great Plains
Collection.”
Some noted highlights from the sale include: 1914-S 5c
PCGS MS66,guaranteed at $4500 realized $13,800 with the buyer’s premium, a
19235c PCGS MS67 realized $10,350, a 1936-D 5c PCGS MS68 realized over$37,000!
Also, an 1895 Proof Morgan dollar, graded Proof 65 by NGC,realized a strong
$60,950!
